Kristen is kind, loyal and honest. She is active, goal-oriented, sensitive and courageous. She is kind of serious and sincerely enthusiastic. She is an artist and a morning person and she always stands up for her friends. Kristen enjoys being a part of creative group projects almost as much as she loves snowboarding with her friends. And, she is seriously seeking better organizational skills.

Turn Ons: Kristen is turned on by creative people who act on their ideas, along with skaters, snowboarders and adventure enthusiasts.
Turn Offs: She is turned off by people who don’t ask questions about others and athletes who spend all their time in the gym.

Favorite Past-time Odd Jobs:
· Technical support agent as a wee teenager at an Internet Service Provider (ISP) in the late 90’s.
· Comic book shop employee
· Human prop at parties for the rich and famous
· Saving the best for last – an unafraid tour guide at a historical underground gold mine (this girl knows her history)

HOBBIES

Kristen’s first love, beyond being on-air, is snowboarding. She knows the ins and outs of the ski bum subculture, working whatever night job necessary to earn the freedom to ride every day in past winters. Passionate for it all, including bumps, trees, fast steeps and handrails, Kristen admits to sometimes being guilty of the “local attitude” (a sometimes inappropriate and arrogant pride local snowboarders exude toward tourists). However, if you happen to ride the chairlift with Kristen, she’ll generously let you in on where to find a secret stash of untouched snow, give you solid advice on buying a new board or tell you where the party’s at later that night.

Kristen’s enthusiasm for snowboarding is contagious and something she's shared with others as a mentor for the Snowboard Outreach Society (SOS). SOS is a grassroots non-profit organization that teaches at-risk youth respect, discipline, courage, integrity and wisdom through snowboarding.

Kristen is an artist. She earned her degree in Fine Art and Multimedia from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, CA and she also studied theater at Richmond College in London. She smiles when she thinks back on the days she spent sleeping on the beach after having stayed up all night printing huge 30 x 40' photographs and face mounting the photos to plexiglass. She is now re-familiarizing herself with the printing press in her spare time, having recently set up a studio in her attic. Kristen silkscreens pop inspired patterns and images onto scraps of old fabric, later to be sewn into sweet, new threads.
